A retail space has to do two jobs at once: work hard for your staff and customers, and represent your brand exactly as intended. Kadri Construction delivers retail fit-outs for independent stores and national brands, taking a space from landlord shell or outdated interior to a finished, open-for-business store. We have completed retail work for well-known brands, including the Lululemon Westboro store in Ottawa.

Permits and landlord coordination
Most retail fit-outs in Ottawa involve a City of Ottawa building permit, and electrical work is inspected by Ontario's Electrical Safety Authority (ESA). Shopping centres and commercial landlords also have their own tenant design criteria and work rules. We review these requirements at the start of every project so the work is planned around them, not surprised by them.

Do you work with national brands and franchises?
Yes. We build to brand standards and drawings supplied by your design team, and coordinate with your project managers throughout.
Do you also do smaller retail renovations?
Yes. We handle everything from full store build-outs to targeted upgrades such as new flooring, lighting or fixtures.
